My love of art began with two wonderful art teachers in middle and high school, many years ago. Life intervened, and I didn’t seriously try to paint again until 2008, after studying with Lorraine Alexander Shelko in Macon for seven months. There I enhanced my drawing skills and learned to use oil paints. Since then, I’ve taken numerous classes and workshops with other noted local artists and have enjoyed learning pastels and water color. My passion is painting children at play, but I also enjoy animals and flowers and am delving into the world of landscapes. I am so thankful God has given me this pastime in my retirement years. It gives me the greatest joy to share my art.
