Jackie Raburn - Artist and
From the time I could pick up a crayon, I drew pictures. It graduated from the walls of my childhood home to painting with acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media. Being retired from teaching at Robins Air Force Base School, I now enjoy not setting an alarm, and painting! Experimenting with colors and different types of styles, from impressionistic realism to abstract, is what I enjoy the most. Of course teaching is what I love to do , and seeing the student’s eyes light up when they realize they can do it is so rewarding. I know God has given me this talent and I love to share it with others, especially children. Painting and teaching art is now my “second career”, and I love it!
